Atlantic Academy, RTC, is seeking a passionate and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote role within a school setting. Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from your home environment while still connecting deeply with the school community. Your work hours will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Although remote, you will be engaging consistently with school staff, students, and their families through virtual platforms. This position is designed to adapt to your work-life balance while prioritizing meaningful interactions and support for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively serve as a liaison between families, students, and outpatient providers to ensure a coordinated approach to mental health care.
• Engage with insurance providers efficiently for pre-certification and utilization management to support access to necessary services.
• Lead effective discharge and aftercare planning, ensuring that students and families have the right resources post-treatment.
• Provide therapeutic meal support, guiding students in developing a healthy relationship with food while reinforcing positive behaviors and emotional well-being.
• Create a safe, empathetic, and affirming environment, tailoring care to the unique circumstances and intersecting identities of each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on students who may struggle with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related disorders. You will be instrumental in building supportive relationships that encourage healing and resilience in a school setting, ensuring that each child feels validated and heard within their educational journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license issued by the state of Nevada.
• Experience working with older adolescents and young adults is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated strong clinical and diagnostic skills to provide high-quality mental health assessments and interventions.
• Essential communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently while being an integral part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting, especially working with children and adolescents facing mental health issues.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Experience navigating health insurance systems and managing treatment authorizations.

Compensation and Benefits

At Atlantic Academy, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
