Billing Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Billing Specialist to join our team. The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing, charge entry, payment posting, claim follow-up, and resolution of billing issues. This position works closely with insurance companies to maximize reimbursement while maintaining compliance with all payer and regulatory requirements. Strong attention to detail Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism Minimum Qualifications: High School degree or equivalent and two years clerical support in a medical billing setting. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be able to work independently with speed and accuracy, have strong interpersonal skills and have competency in position-specific computer software applications.
