Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management of clinical outcomes by systematically evaluating patient progress and addressing complex cases with fellow staff therapists.
• Oversee clinical workflows to optimize the patient intake process, manage referral processing, and ensure efficient scheduling practices that meet patient needs.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans that emphasize early intervention and include same-day evaluations for timely patient care.
• Develop and nurture a collaborative environment, actively engaging with colleagues to enhance teamwork, and focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes and safety.
• Work alongside the Director of Therapy Operations (DTO) to identify and implement clinical improvement opportunities that enhance service delivery.
• Establish strong professional relationships with employers, referral sources, and insurance payers through regular communication and engagement activities.
• Utilize clinical documentation systems effectively to ensure meticulous record-keeping, appropriate coding, charge capture, and adherence to all patient care directives.
• Ensure compliance with Florida State Practice Act and all relevant rules and regulations affecting patient care.
• Drive patient satisfaction metrics and consistently engage in practices that improve overall client experience.
• Patiently adhere to the Physical Therapy Guidebook protocols, ensuring each therapy session aligns with the standard of a “Perfect PT visit.”

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• Possession of active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex problems using logical reasoning and analysis.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with a commitment to professional and empathetic interaction with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation setting, particularly within a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and clinical documentation software.
• Prior engagement in quality improvement initiatives within a healthcare context.
• Understanding of payer requirements and healthcare regulations pertinent to rehabilitation therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
