Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and identify individual needs, goals, and treatment options.
• Manage a patient caseload with an emphasis on personalized care, holding consultations with one patient per hour to ensure focused treatment and attention.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques tailored to individual patient needs, including exercises and manual therapies.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on treatment regimens, exercises, and lifestyle changes to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, contributing to team meetings and joint consultations to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering a positive environment that encourages adherence to treatment plans.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment activities thoroughly, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.

The primary client demographic consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will directly impact the quality of care and recovery outcomes for these patients, many of whom require tailored treatment strategies to regain mobility and resume daily activities. Understanding orthopedic pathways of care is essential for maximizing patient satisfaction and success.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to develop effective exercise protocols.
• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is mandatory, ideally with at least two years in a similar role.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records software, specifically WebPT, is highly regarded.
• Possess an unblemished professional record, free from disciplinary actions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
