Work Environment

As a physical therapist at our outpatient clinic, you will be working onsite alongside a talented team that includes experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify individual goals and treatment needs, ensuring a personalized approach to therapy.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused, individualized attention and care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions aimed at restoring patients' range of motion and improving functional mobility.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to document patient progress and treatment outcomes diligently.
• Motivate and educate patients on lifestyle modifications that promote strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and specialists, to ensure integrated patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans as necessary to align with patient progress and goals.
• Encourage the reduction of reliance on medications and explore non-surgical alternatives through proactive physical rehabilitation strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient care services and facilitate regular communication with patients regarding their progress and treatment expectations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with diverse patient demographics, including active adults, athletes, and seniors, where your tailored care plans and innovative rehabilitation techniques can lead to significant improvements in their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board infringements.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to implement effective exercise protocols.
• Strong proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient center is highly desirable, as it ensures familiarity with the common conditions and treatment protocols utilized in this setting.
• Experience in developing tailored fitness programs and wellness plans that align with patient rehabilitation goals.

Compensation and Benefits
