Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting that allows for flexibility in scheduling while primarily functioning within a structured telehealth framework. Our clinicians work from the comfort of their homes yet remain fully integrated into our collaborative team environment. While primarily operating on a standard schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, some flexibility will be necessary to accommodate varying patient needs. This innovative approach ensures that our clients receive timely and effective assistance in a secure setting.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive cultural assessments that help identify patient needs and inform tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapted to meet the unique cultural and personal circumstances of each individual.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address a broad range of mental health concerns, empowering patients towards resilience and improved well-being.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care and ensure all aspects of patient treatment align seamlessly.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and supportive guidance during mental health emergencies and high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources, cultivating an informed approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly those grounded in cultural competencies.

• Experience delivering individual and group therapy in varied settings, incorporating culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to telehealth.

Preferred Experience\n
