Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU Neuro

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Every Other Weekend and Some Holidays Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a Neuro specialty focus
• Work with both ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC) patient populations as needed
• Float to other units as required based on staffing needs
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using Epic EMR
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the specialty
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with strict criteria for lethal rhythm identification)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neurosurgery experience strongly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting
