If you are a hands-on problem solver with a background in mechanical and electrical equipment upkeep, we want to hear from you!Compensation & SchedulePay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 / hour (Hourly) DOESchedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMLocation: Riviera Beach, FLDepartment: MaintenanceReports To: Maintenance Supervisor / LeadRole OverviewAs a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform routine preventative maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide variety of industrial machinery—including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production line equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnostics & RepairsListen to and observe mechanical devices in operation to quickly diagnose root causes of machine failure.Dismantle devices to access, inspect, and replace defective parts.Inspect components for wear, damage, or changes in dimensional specifications.Repair or replace both mechanical and electrical components.Install structural/functional parts and adjust control instruments as needed.Preventative Maintenance & CarePerform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance across facility equipment to minimize downtime.Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts during routine service.Test devices post-repair to verify proper performance.Recommend required parts for ordering and inventory management.Quality & Operational StandardsMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.Accurately complete required maintenance logs and documentation on time.Participate in cross-training and learn new technologies/processes as introduced.Qualifications & RequirementsDriver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license.Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED OR1–3 months of related mechanical maintenance experience/training ORAn equivalent combination of education and experience.Technical & Basic Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance manuals, and procedure documents.Practical mathematical ability (working with basic geometry, fractions, percentages, and ratios).Strong troubleshooting and common-sense problem-solving skills.Physical Demands: Must be able to regularly stand, reach, and handle/feel small parts and tools.Must frequently lift and/or move 50–70 lbs or more.Strong depth perception and focus adjustment vision capabilities.Why Apply?This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a well-established manufacturing company in the Riviera Beach area, offering consistent full-time day hours and a supportive team environment.Ready to get to work?
