Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to accurately gauge their physical conditions and functional capabilities.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, goals, and the latest therapy techniques.
• Administer hands-on therapy that may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and necessary lifestyle adjustments for optimal healing.
• Consistently monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adaptations to treatment strategies to address changing needs.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Maintain detailed, accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Care Partners, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You will utilize your expertise to provide tailored rehab services for various cases, ranging from athletes to aging adults, always aiming to restore functionality and enhance quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license to practice in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, specifically with orthopedic patients or similar populations.
• Excellent clinical skills paired with the capability to evaluate and implement a range of therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
