Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Technology Support in Newtown Square, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols, reporting access concerns and security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established post orders and escalation procedures. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Access control and badge experience preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
