Lead Software Engineer - ML & Agentic Treasury

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We have formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus 5+ years of applied experience.
• We bring hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We have experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using Java, Python, and SQL.
• We have experience with PostgreSQL.
• We have experience with AWS.
• We have practical experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation, and we can critically assess, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for accuracy, performance, and security.
• We understand responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resiliency and security expectations, and we can guide peers on safe and effective usage.
• We have broad knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• We have a strong understanding of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Preferred: we have knowledge of Databricks.
• Preferred: we have knowledge of ML frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, and Pandas.

• We execute software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting, and we solve problems beyond routine or conventional approaches.
• We create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that operate synchronously with appropriate systems.
• We use enterprise-authorized AI coding assistance tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex work, while validating results through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• We apply knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle tooling, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered by automation.
• We produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are reflected in the software we build.
• We gather, analyze, synthesize, and visualize large and varied data sets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
• We proactively identify hidden issues and patterns in data and use those insights to improve coding practices and system architecture.
