Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and insightful mental health assessments to determine patients' psychological needs and craft individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Provide therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based practices to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups to foster community, reduce isolation, and address common mental health issues among clients.

• Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic care for our patients.

• Offer timely crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies.

• Educate patients about their diagnoses, treatment modalities, and available community resources through informative discussions and resource provision.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case consultations and contribute to team meetings, ensuring that each client receives coordinated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.

• Proven experience in conducting mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Sound ethical judgment and adherence to professional standards and boundaries.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing mental health counseling services, particularly in an outpatient or community mental health setting, is highly desirable. Experience in group therapy is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
