Duties and responsibilities are subject to change and other duties may be assigned as necessary.PositionSummary:Under general direction and independently and/or as part of a team, apply scientific and cross-functional knowledge to achieve project goals by designing, executing, interpreting complex experiments and generating comprehensive reports, managing laboratory operations, and supporting long-term scientific projects.Duties and Responsibilities:Working with current laboratory personnel on collaborative projects as guided by project plans.Independently develop and implement experiments, assays and techniques necessary to meet the goals of assigned projects.May direct the work of scientific and non- staff working on assigned projects.Have a thorough understanding of the science related to assigned projects and to be able to contribute to project discussions in a productive and meaningful way.Effectively present results and ideas related to assigned projects both verbally and in writing. Lab Management: Oversee daily lab operations, maintain specialized equipment, manage inventory/orders, and enforce safety or regulatory compliance.
