Job Description
The Paralegal - Trust and Estates position in Uniondale, NY, supports legal professionals by managing administrative and substantive tasks related to trusts and estate matters.
Previous experience with T&E is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with the preparation, review, and organization of trust and estate documents.
- Manage client files, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate communications between clients, attorneys, and relevant third parties.
- Schedule meetings, hearings, and appointments related to trust and estate matters.
- Conduct legal research and gather necessary documentation under attorney guidance.
- Provide administrative support such as document filing and data entry.
- Ensure compliance with office policies and legal procedures concerning trusts and estates.
- Ability to work reliably onsite full-time.
- Possession of a personal vehicle for commuting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with trusts and estates matters.
- Legal experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
