Work Environment\n

This position is remote, enabling you to work from anywhere while collaborating with a passionate team dedicated to mental health advocacy and patient care. As a member of our hospice center, you will be part of an environment that prioritizes comfort and support, both for clients and therapists alike. You will have the flexibility to create your schedule while dedicating 40 hours a week to delivering impactful social services.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Valley of Hope, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, groups, couples, and families to address a wide range of mental health issues.

• Conducting detailed client interviews to gather, analyze, and interpret information regarding social, personal, environmental, and health contexts affecting their well-being.
\n
• Developing targeted treatment plans that cater to the specific emotional and social needs of clients.
\n
• Facilitating interventions that include cognitive, behavioral, and affective strategies, as well as crisis management and directing clients to community resources.
\n
• Cultivating therapeutic relationships characterized by mutual respect, empathy, and trust.
\n
• Regularly assessing treatment effectiveness to ensure therapeutic goals are being met and adjusting plans as necessary.

• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation of client sessions and outcomes in accordance with established protocols.

• Managing an appropriate caseload while ensuring timely updates to case documentation reflecting the services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse range of clients struggling with various mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, familial issues, and grief. Your expertise will facilitate healing and growth in clients who come from diverse backgrounds and circumstances, enhancing their quality of life and overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a closely related field.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health or social work.
