While the bulk of your responsibilities can be managed remotely, occasional travel may be required for team meetings or patient evaluations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments using interviews and reviews of medical records, identifying emotional, social, and environmental factors influencing each patient’s recovery process.

• Deliver supportive counseling and family therapy to assist patients and their loved ones in navigating adjustments post-rehabilitation, fostering a positive mindset and coping strategies.

• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to formulate individualized treatment plans, integrating psychosocial considerations that contribute to effective recovery strategies.

• Guide patients in accessing community resources such as support groups and vocational rehabilitation services, facilitating their ongoing independence.

• Educate patients and families about post-rehabilitation resources, ensuring continuity of care as they transition back to their homes or other care environments.

• Take an active role in discharge planning, ensuring patients are equipped with the necessary resources and support as they move towards independence.

Your work will focus primarily on individuals recovering from strokes, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and neurological disorders. You will address a wide array of social and emotional challenges, helping patients to build resilience and prepare for a successful return to their daily lives. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by a generous sign-on bonus.
