What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency care for a diverse patient population, from newborns to geriatrics
• Manage approximately 85-95 patient visits daily, with nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3
• Perform IV starts, continuous patient monitoring, and acute care interventions for conditions including respiratory distress, stroke, cardiac issues, trauma, and mental health crises
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including charge nurses, RTs, hospitalists, and support staff
• Use Meditech Expanse EMR to document and coordinate patient care
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment with scrubs, badges, and professional conduct
• Complete a 2-day orientation and 2 days on the unit, with flexible scheduling including every other weekend and some holidays

What You Need

• Valid BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, CPI or MOAB certifications
• At least 2 years of recent ER experience in acute care
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
• Proficiency in IV placement, multitasking, continuous patient monitoring, and triaging patient severity

• Experience in high-volume ERs and trauma care
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments
