Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Sanford, Florida, where you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality orthopedic therapy services. The clinic operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a consistent work schedule without weekend commitments. Our facility is designed to provide the necessary tools and resources needed to succeed in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to the relevant state practice acts, ensuring compliance with regulations governing physical therapy practices.
• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, developing tailored treatment plans to address their functional limitations.
• Perform detailed assessments that include a thorough review of patient histories and relevant health information, and document findings accurately.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, adapting to the evolving healthcare environment and responding to patient progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consulting with other healthcare providers when necessary to optimize patient care.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on observed changes in their conditions.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all patient care activities, including evaluations, treatment goals, and discharge summaries.
• Engage actively in continuing education and training programs to maintain licensure and stay updated with industry standards.
• Participate in facility meetings, contributing to discussions aimed at enhancing clinic performance and patient access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically focuses on treating individuals with orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification, ensuring readiness for patient emergencies.

Preferred Experience

While we require at least two years of outpatient orthopedic experience, candidates with additional certifications in specialized areas, such as sports rehabilitation or manual therapy, will be viewed favorably. Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of fostering positive patient relationships will be considered essential assets for this role.

Compensation and Benefits
