Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed mental health therapist at Desert Trauma Counseling Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate mental health counseling sessions via video chat.

• Employing various solution-based treatment modalities tailored to facilitate individual treatment plans.

• Creating effective, individualized treatment plans based on client assessments and evolving needs.

• Helping clients gain deeper insights into their emotions, experiences, and relationships through meaningful therapeutic dialogue.

• Continuously monitoring client progress within treatment plans and assisting in the development of healthy coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who present with a range of mental health needs. Our client base includes individuals seeking management and support for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other common life challenges. Your role is crucial in providing these clients with the skills and support necessary for them to enhance their overall well-being and quality of life through individualized care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Hold a current, unrestricted license to practice independently as a:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• No limited or provisional licenses; candidates must be fully licensed with no disciplinary actions.

• Strong proficiency in computer skills and comfortable utilizing telehealth platforms for counseling.
