Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health backgrounds and individual challenges accurately.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing effective evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans informed by their specific goals and needs, ensuring that plans are regularly reviewed and adjusted as necessary.

• Engage in crisis intervention, including risk assessments and developing safety plans to support clients facing immediate challenges.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Facilitate psychoeducation classes and support groups, providing clients with valuable resources and shared experiences that foster community support.

• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to ensure integrated and holistic treatment approaches are in place.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Social Worker at Maxim Wellness, you will primarily support clients dealing with addiction-related issues and various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.

• At least two years of post-graduate experience in a mental health or outpatient clinical setting, preferably with experience in addiction services.

• Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities relevant to addiction and mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
