May 06, 2026 Business Process Mapping Consultant (US - Washington DC) Position Summary Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Business Process Mapping Consultant. The role is contingent upon award of contract. This individual will serve as the primary liaison to business stakeholders and be responsible for requirements gathering, documentation, workflow mapping, acceptance criteria, and quality assurance of technical deliverables. What will you do in this role? Lead requirements sessions, process mapping, and organizational design support. Document CONOPS, business process reengineering artifacts, and use cases. Conduct testing, validation, and quality assurance for dashboards, analytics, IC tools, and templates. Develop performance metrics/KPIs and build related dashboards in PowerBI, Tableau or similar tools. Support strategic planning deliverables, performance documentation, and reporting. What do you need to succeed in this role? Experience documenting business processes, preferably using LSS, ISO 9001, PMBOK and federal standards. Familiar with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data analytic tools (e.g., Python, Alteryx, R). Familiarity with OMB Circulars A‑11 and A‑123, and other federal internal controls (e.g., GAO's Green Book). Experience with CMMI and/or Lean Six Sigma methodologies required; Lean Six Sigma certification preferred. PMP certification is preferred. Bachelor's Degree required. 3+ years as Business Analyst or equivalent. Strong customer service skills. Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance. U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to perform work on site in Washington DC, daily. In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $100,000.
