Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs, considering their medical history, current psychological state, and situational factors influencing their well-being.

• Facilitate both individual and family therapy sessions, providing support and guidance to help patients process their experiences and emotions related to illness, grief, and loss.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and spiritual care providers, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care and address any immediate mental health crises.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during moments of acute emotional distress, employing de-escalation techniques and referrals when higher levels of care are necessary.

• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can enhance their overall well-being.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance with all legal and ethical standards within the mental health field.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
