Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct both individual and group therapy through secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring a safe and supportive virtual environment for clients.

• Develop, implement, and regularly assess personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including psychologists, addiction specialists, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, utilizing best practices to ensure client safety and support recovery efforts.

• Engage in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in social work and mental health treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals who are undergoing detoxification and struggling with substance use as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. This role requires a strong ability to connect with a diverse range of clients, understanding their unique challenges and tailoring therapeutic approaches accordingly. Creating a trusting and empathetic relationship with clients is crucial for their success and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active LCSW licensure in the state of New York.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a related field is required.
\n
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in a clinical social work setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to engage with varied populations in a respectful and supportive manner.

• A thorough understanding of the complexities associated with substance use and mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
