Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct ethical and compassionate individual counseling sessions using video chat technology, ensuring confidentiality and comfort for your clients.

• Utilize solution-focused therapy techniques and evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that identify specific goals and strategies to improve clients’ mental health outcomes.

• Facilitate therapeutic discussions to help clients gain insights into their thoughts, emotions, and interpersonal relationships.

• Monitor clients’ progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and encouraging the development of healthy coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve stable, low acuity adults who exhibit a variety of mental health needs. Our goal is to empower these individuals by equipping them with the tools and skills they need to improve their overall quality of life. By addressing their unique challenges, you will play a vital role in helping them navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current state-issued mental health counseling license, allowing you to work independently. Please specify your credentials and licensed state in your application. Acceptable licenses include:

• No limitations on your license (i.e., no provisional status) and a clean disciplinary record.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others succeed.

• Proficient in basic computer skills, including video conferencing tools.

• A reliable computer equipped with webcam and audio capabilities for conducting video sessions, along with a dependable internet connection.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome applicants from various backgrounds, experience in virtual counseling settings and familiarity with telehealth practices will be advantageous. Previous work with clients in similar demographics as those served by Gotham Enterprises Ltd will also be beneficial.
