Payroll Clerk

Payroll Clerk Requirements- Previous experience as a Payroll Clerk, Administrative Assistant and/or Receptionist in a Skilled Nursing Facility, or similar work environment, is preferred but not required
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster shots
- Diploma/BS/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field
- Experience with ADP payroll systems
- Experience with Excel spreadsheets
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues
- Compiles hours worked from time sheets and other records
- Prepares computer input forms, enters data into computer files, and submits to payroll vendor
- Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
- Monitors missed punches, missed meal breaks, and interrupted mean periods and reports to Administrator
- Produces daily timekeeping and overtime reports for the Administrator
- Records data concerning transfer of employees between departments
- Keeps records of leave pay and nontaxable wages
- Distributes paychecks
- Processes workers' compensation claims, assuring claims are promptly reported and paperwork is completed in a timely manner
- Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, creating folders, photocopying, collating, etc
- Performs other duties or functions as assigned by the Administrator
PAY SCALE: 28 and up Based on skills/experience Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
