This role maintains a team of successful media practitioners that deliver client and agency goals (content channels include but are not limited to: television, magazines, search, digital, mobile, OOH, in-office, social, DR). You will also manage the holistic Spark Foundry team in delivering media excellence.ResponsibilitiesBuild and own senior client relationships, regularly conduct in person and remote client status sessions, relationship management and development opportunities, vision setting discussions, and collaboration with client teamsAnticipates business risks, opportunities, and organizational changes before they become client issuesCore client stakeholders with regular contact include: SVP Marketing, VP Media lead, Sr .Media DirectorsTravel to client up to 3-5x per quarterSet Strategic & Tactical vision across agency and client teamsDevelops a clear long-term vision for clients and teamsBalances immediate business needs with future growth opportunitiesLead strategic approach for integrated marketing across all channelsShapes the strategic agenda rather than reacting to client requestsEvaluate current health of client business via analysis of relevant business metrics while also seeking innovative solutions to deliver on clients’ goalsReview, critique, and help propose revisions to all client facing recommendations, including Strategic & Tactical Recommendations Drive Content strategy & execution including use of paid media added value, influencers, social channels, etc.Proactively develop collaborative relationships with other client partners:Creative, PR, any other 3P partnersBuild partnerships with key media partners/suppliersManage team growth by monitoring performance and guiding career developmentCreates accountability and performance standards across teamsEnsure team deliverables are aligned with media strategy and are well versed in knowledge of the client’s businessManage performance reviews, coaching to maximize success, and goal setting for career development and advocate for team membersQualifications15+ years of experience developing strategic media recommendations and proven performance/knowledge across mediaStrong leadership skills and experience fostering a highly productive team with smart management, goal setting, and prioritizationPrior new business transition experience highly encouragedStrong client facing and relationship building skills.Ability to relate to corporate marketing team as well as large division teamsExperience with high volume performance account a plusFamiliar with marketing science principles and problem solving / analytics used to influence a data-driven, quantitative approach in driving strategyExemplify collaboration by building and maintaining productive relationships across internal teams and agency partnersAdditional informationOur Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
