An exciting opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve students on the east and northeast side of the Houston metro area. This contract position offers the chance to work at three dynamic campuses, making a meaningful impact on student development in a collaborative, educational environment. The assignment runs through the end of May 2027, providing excellent continuity for both students and your own professional growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Active, valid Texas SLPA license required (must provide license screenshot upon submission)
• Previous school-based experience as an SLPA essential
• Availability for in-person work across all three campus locations
• Reliable transportation to commute between Furr High School, Edison Middle School, and Holland Middle School
• Prior experience with the district is a plus
• Ability to complete fingerprinting within three days of contract acceptance

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to assigned students in accordance with IEPs and team recommendations
• Coordinate with supervising SLPs and campus staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communication logs
• Support assessment procedures and participate in parent/team meetings as required
• Travel between assigned campuses as scheduled to ensure effective student coverage
