Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Kodiak Island, Alaska.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Physical Therapist\n Discipline: Therapy\n Start Date: 10/19/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 8 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 5x8hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 19, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience to join a critical access hospital's therapy team treating patients across the lifespan.Details\n \n Critical access hospital with Level IV Trauma designation, 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds\n Therapy department covers outpatient, inpatient, and SNF patients, including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric specialties\n Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM\n No weekend or on-call requirements\n Clinician may float within scope to cover Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF units\n Uses Epic for charting\n Requirements\n \n Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required\n BLS certification required\n Alaska state license required (if applicable)\n Compact license must be active and in hand at time of consideration\n Epic EMR experience required\n Pediatric and adolescent experience preferred\n Additional Information\n \n First-time travelers accepted\n Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for consideration\n Local candidates may be accepted at a lower bill rate\n Returning former Providence staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius\n Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities within the state\n Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)\n RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process\n Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years\n Scrub attire is flexible, with business casual also accepted\n Facility provides housing and a rental vehicle for the assignment duration\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-753660.
