Highlights Location: Brick, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions to attain expected outcomes. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Requirements Education: Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: 1 or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse strongly preferred Licenses & Certifications: BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire Current knowledge of wound and ostomy management preferred National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
