Business Development Manager

Yibi Group | Strategic Global Partner to Luxury Maisons

Yibi Group is a leading OEM manufacturer and strategic partner of world-renowned luxury brands, with three core divisions focusing on high-end stainless steel jewelry, luxury leather goods & stainless steel hardware, and MIM precision metal components. As the only Chinese manufacturer fully certified by LVMH, Kering and Richemont, we combine traditional craftsmanship with advanced automation. We are now seeking talent to build and expand our market presence in New York. About the Role We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager with solid expertise in New York’s luxury fashion and jewelry industry to lead our local market expansion. With in-depth knowledge of the stainless steel jewelry sector and New York market strategies, you will develop high-value client relationships, drive revenue growth, and position Yibi as the premium stainless steel OEM partner for local luxury brands in New York. Responsibilities Client Acquisition & Relationship Management Identify and onboard high-value clients across New York’s luxury fashion, jewelry and accessories sectors (local New York brands and designers). Establish long-term strategic client partnerships and serve as the primary single point of contact for all commercial needs. Negotiate contracts and pricing in line with global luxury brand standards to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Develop and execute New York-tailored market strategies to penetrate key segments and meet revenue targets. Conduct in-depth market analysis to track industry trends, competitors and growth opportunities within the stainless steel jewelry market. Collaborate with global teams to adapt our product offerings to New York’s unique market demands, including sustainability requirements, design aesthetics and local regulations. Act as the liaison between Yibi’s global team (China headquarters) and New York clients to ensure smooth communication and full business alignment. Support local marketing campaigns and industry trade shows in New York to boost lead generation and brand visibility. Deliver local market insights to the product development team for localized innovation and design optimization. Performance Tracking & Business Growth Set and monitor New York-specific KPIs including revenue performance and new client acquisition, and report regularly to global management. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to deepen partnerships with existing New York clients. Qualifications 7+ years of business development experience within New York’s luxury fashion & jewelry industry, with a proven track record of revenue growth. Deep understanding of New York luxury market dynamics, consumer trends and local preferences. Background in stainless steel jewelry manufacturing and OEM/ODM industry experience is highly preferred. Fluent in English as a native speaker; strong cross-cultural communication skills to engage with global and local stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in designing and executing localized business development strategies aligned with international luxury standards. Required Skills Exceptional client relationship management, negotiation and communication skills, tailored to New York’s luxury business culture. Strategic mindset with strong result orientation and the ability to deliver ambitious revenue goals. Solid knowledge of New York’s fashion & luxury ecosystem, including industry regulations and sustainability benchmarks. Self-motivated and independent; comfortable with remote/hybrid work and cross-border collaboration with global and local teams. Proficient in CRM systems, market research tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Management, Marketing or related fields.
