Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for children from birth to three years who may have developmental challenges.
\n
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring that each child’s unique needs and family dynamics are addressed.
\n
• Monitor and document developmental progress, making necessary adjustments to intervention strategies based on team collaboration.
\n
• Provide evidence-based interventions and support to families, utilizing coaching models and natural environment teaching strategies.
\n
• Engage with diverse families, building rapport and trust to promote effective communication and support throughout the intervention process.
\n
• Comply with all federal and state regulations governing child welfare and social work practices.
\n
• Provide the family with resources and support aimed at enhancing their child’s development within the context of their home and community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to assist young children, especially infants and toddlers facing disabilities or delays. You will be working with families from diverse backgrounds, each with their unique challenges. Understanding the social, emotional, and environmental factors that affect development is essential. Your work will ensure that families receive tailored support and intervention strategies designed to promote positive outcomes for their children.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required.

• Must be licensed by the Department of Public Health and possess an LCSW certification.

• A valid driver’s license is necessary for this role.

• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n
