Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and formulate personalized treatment plans that promote positive outcomes.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care approaches.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies and provide timely referrals to necessary community resources and support services.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment progress compliant with state regulations, contributing to cohesive team communication and effective case management.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions to ensure best practices are adhered to within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on individuals experiencing substance use disorders and mental health challenges, primarily those in a detox center environment. You will work with clients who may be facing issues such as addiction, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Each client presents unique challenges, and your work will be pivotal in helping them navigate their recovery journey through empathy, effective interventions, and ongoing support.

Qualifications\n

• Active LCSW license in good standing in the state of Tennessee, with the ability to e-therapy when appropriate.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient settings or mental health services, particularly with substance use disorders preferred.

• Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic interventions with the ability to adapt to a variety of client needs.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, essential for collaborating with patients and team members alike.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is beneficial to streamline client documentation and data management.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with additional experience in detox settings, crisis intervention, or substance abuse counseling will be given preference. Knowledge of local community resources and networks is also an asset for providing comprehensive care to our clients.
