The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across East Lansing seeking Bookkeeper / Office Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts monthly, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Prepare and submit sales tax, property tax, and other regulatory filings.
- Oversee general office administration, including managing supplies, vendor relations, and facility maintenance.
- Maintain organized physical and digital financial records, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and financial reporting.
Recommended Qualifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with inventory management processes
- Experience with expense reporting software (e.g., Concur, Expensify)
