We are looking for a motivated paralegal for our law practice.
Duties will include communicating with clients, drafting of documents, and scheduling for attorneys. The ideal candidate should have attention to detail, be a self-starter and be organized. If you have previous experience in the matrimonial/family law and/or litigation and personal injury field, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful paralegal will be able to assist in running the day-to-day functions in this fast-paced field.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support to ensure efficient operation of our Law Practice
- Communicating with clients, Courts and other attorneys.
- Drafting and finalizing documents.
- Calendaring and Scheduling
- Screening potential new clients
- Assist in the preparation of documents
- Filing documents on NYSCEF
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a law office.
- Knowledge of Windows 11, SharePoint, Outlook and NYSCF, CM/ECF and Pacer
Will train on File Management Software and Family Law Software
