Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialty home infusion pharmacy is seeking a knowledgeable Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) licensed in Texas and California to oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards during an 8-week contract, with the possibility of extension. This role requires a strong background in home infusion and specialty pharmacy practices to manage the dispensing of medications used in home settings effectively.

- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour day shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, maintaining compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Oversee specialty home infusion pharmacy operations, ensuring safe handling, preparation, and dispensation of medications.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and patients to optimize medication therapies.
- Manage inventory, documentation, and quality assurance processes specifically related to home infusion pharmacy services.
- Lead initiatives to maintain accreditation and regulatory compliance within the specialty infusion setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active Pharmacist licenses in both Texas and California.
- Proven experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC).
- Experience in specialty pharmacy, home infusion, or specialty infusion pharmacy environments.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage pharmacy operations efficiently.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practice in home infusion settings.
