Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will take on a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments for couples and families to identify issues and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitating therapeutic sessions with couples while also providing individual therapy as required, addressing various concerns such as relationship dynamics, communication barriers, and personal conflicts.

• Working with clients to effectively manage challenges including but not limited to alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, and transition stressors such as divorce and remarriage.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapies and techniques tailored to the needs of each client, ensuring a sensitive approach that encourages healing and growth.

• Engaging in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated on the latest therapeutic advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists at Ridgeview Counseling Center provide care to a wide spectrum of clients, including adults, children, and adolescents. With a focus on family systems, our therapists address relational issues, mental health challenges, and familial conflicts. You will have the opportunity to work with blended families, guide individuals through the aftermath of separation and divorce, and assist youth in navigating their emotional health, fostering resilience and well-being in diverse client settings.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Holding a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Massachusetts.

Additionally, candidates should be open to flexible schedules, as we seek individuals who can commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week.
