Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role encompasses various vital tasks that directly impact client outcomes:

• Engage actively in community outreach and engagement activities to promote holistic wellness, specifically targeting birthing individuals and their families to create a supportive village environment.

• Participate in clinical consultations and multidisciplinary learning environments that encourage collaborative support and enhance your professional knowledge.

• Manage and complete all required clinical documentation efficiently to ensure compliance and integration with care protocols.

• Deliver direct mental health services, including behavioral health assessments, individual counseling, and comprehensive case management tailored to the unique needs of Black birthing families.

• Collaborate with diverse prenatal care team members—medical professionals, midwives, doulas, lactation educators—to provide seamless and integrated patient care, enhancing the overall client experience.

• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum support groups in partnership with peer birth workers to foster community connection and education.

• Take on additional related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to collaborative care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on serving Black birthing families within Riverside and surrounding areas. We strive to address the specific mental health challenges and social determinants of health that affect this population. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master's degree in a behavioral science or a related field from an accredited institution, reflecting a strong foundational knowledge of mental health practices.

• A valid and active license as either an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC to provide therapy and counseling services.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to engage with a diverse client population and interdisciplinary staff effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
