Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employee Benefits Associate to join its Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience advising on ERISA and employee benefits matters, with a focus on ERISA Title I issues related to funds formation and securitization transactions. Duties Advise on ERISA Title I issues in funds formation and investment transactions. Counsel clients on the design and compliance of qualified retirement plans. Advise on health and welfare plan compliance, including medical and other benefits. Collaborate with colleagues to provide integrated advice to clients. Requirements 2-5 years of experience in ERISA and employee benefits matters. Familiarity with benefits issues in transactional contexts preferred. Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education: JD from an ABA‑accredited law school. Certifications: Active member in good standing of the Illinois Bar. Skills Ability to manage multiple matters in a team‑oriented environment. Strong academic credentials.
