Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT, you will engage with clients in various therapeutic settings, conducting both individual and couple’s therapy sessions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate mental and emotional health, family dynamics, and interpersonal relationships.

• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans that align with each client’s goals and circumstances.
\n
• Facilitating therapy sessions to address issues such as communication difficulties, grief and loss, job stress, and interpersonal conflicts among family members.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to guide clients towards healthy coping strategies and solutions.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and remain abreast of best practices in family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on families, couples, and individuals facing various challenges, including:

• Alcohol abuse and dependency
\n
• Experiences of physical and psychological abuse
\n
• Grief, loss, and adjustment issues following life changes
\n
• Conflict resolution between siblings and other family members
\n
• Transitioning through separation and divorce
\n
• Adjustment to blended family dynamics

• Communication barriers within familial relationships

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A current and valid license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
