Industrial Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, waste, and improvement opportunities.
- Analyze production, operational, business, and quality data to identify trends and support data-driven decisions.
- Support process improvement projects related to filling, sealing, printing, packaging, and other manufacturing activities.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Process Excellence tools to improve productivity, cycle time, quality, and capacity.
- Lead or support cross-functional teams during improvement initiatives, implementation activities, and follow-up monitoring.
- Prepare reports, presentations, project documentation, and business cases for management and key stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $25.00 to $45.00 per hour.
- Work location: On-site in Jayuya, PR.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing process evaluation, optimization, or continuous improvement.
- Experience analyzing manufacturing, operational, or quality data.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in engineering, operations, quality, and manufacturing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Jayuya, Puerto Rico.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience with filling, sealing, printing, or packaging processes.
- Knowledge of Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, root cause analysis, and waste reduction.
- Lean Six Sigma training or certification.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
