Sr. Paralegal

JOB SUMMARY

Performs a variety of law-related tasks under the direction of the organization's attorneys. Conducts legal research, drafts legal documents and performs other related duties. Has or is working towards a paralegal designation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required) In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Six (6) or more years Related experience (Required) Experience with Legal Tracker (Preferred) No Licensure or Certification Required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Supports the legal department on a wide variety of legal matters, including M&A, commercial transactions, contract review, real estate purchases and acquisitions, regulatory matters, and corporate governance Envisions, creates, and maintains the Company's new centralized repository of legal files and folders Assists in corporate filings and updates with Secretaries of States in all states where Company operates Performs administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc.) Performs routine office duties, such as photocopying and scanning documents, and helping prepare them for court filings Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Mentors and train new hires and less experienced team members While this job description aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the role, it may not detail every task #J-18808-Ljbffr Semiserve
