Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will engage in a variety of tasks including:

• Conducting detailed assessments to evaluate clients' moods and mental health, determining the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Collaborating with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implementing evidence-based treatment methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders effectively.

• Providing educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices.

• Carefully monitoring client progress and making timely adjustments to treatment strategies to best meet evolving needs.

• Partnering with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care and ensure comprehensive treatment.

• Staying informed about the latest research and trends in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance clinical practices.

• Maintaining meticulous records while strictly adhering to legal and ethical guidelines surrounding client confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients experiencing a range of mood disorders including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. This includes supporting diverse groups such as individuals facing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your expertise will empower these individuals to address their challenges, develop coping strategies, and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
