Join us.The Sales Support Specialist role is to provide the Topcon Dealers support and services via telephone, e-mail or fax. Processes orders for materials or merchandise from Topcon Export Dealers. Maintains customer files with sales contracts and other information. Gives price quotations, completes order sheets and checks the price and quantity of each item listed. Distributes order sheets to respective departments. May coordinate with departments regarding order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability and back orders.Responsibilities:Provide professional and personal assistance to customers in answering inquiries through telephone, e-mail and faxData entry of orders (instruments) and follow up of order status with customersArrange shipments as well issuing documents/invoices for customs clearance.Build and maintain customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with accuracy and professionalism. Must identify, research, track and monitor the problem to insure a timely resolutionMaintain basic knowledge of Topcon products for troubleshooting of common problemsMaintain strong working relationship within team environmentTimely communication of open items and issues to direct supervisorRequirements:Education & Experience:Associates degree preferred or 3 years of experience in customer support or sales order entryKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Associates degree preferred or 3 years of experience in customer support or sales order entryDetail-oriented with excellent reasoning & analytical skillsGood ability to prioritize tasks as well as multitask.Must have strong "follow up" skillsStrong organization & communication skillsMust be self-motivated and comfortable working independently, however, must also be a team playerHave the ability to work within tight deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office applications a mustSpanish speaking a mustExperience with SAP and/or SALESFORCE a plus.Base Pay:Expected Base Pay Range: $30.00 to $33.00 HourlyThe base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed. Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position.
