Position Overview Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Level Professor in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) seeks fellowship-trained clinicians in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery. Microvascular reconstruction is preferred but not essential. UCSF provides an outstanding environment for surgical, inpatient, and outpatient management within the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Mission Bay Campus. The role involves education of residents and fellows, clinical care, and research. Qualifications MD degree, MD/PhD Degree, or equivalent degree Completed accredited residency program in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Completed AHNS accredited fellowship program in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery Board eligible or board certified in the American Board of Otolaryngology‑Head & Neck Surgery California medical license must be obtained by the time of hire; all requirements must be met by the start date Applicants’ materials must list current, eligible, and/or pending qualifications upon submission Application Requirements Curriculum Vitae – must clearly list current or pending qualifications (e.g., board eligibility, licensure) Cover Letter Statement of Research Statement of Teaching Contact information for three references Locations Information may be requested for Mission Bay, Mount Zion, or Parnassus campuses of UCSF, and possible clinic time at satellite offices.
