The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced construction law attorney to join our team in an Of Counsel or senior associate capacity with a partnership track. The right candidate is someone who is energized by delivering an excellent service, serving valued clients, bringing creative thinking to complex problems, and who is ready to grow with a firm that is building something exceptional.

Practice Area Focus

• Litigation experience is required; candidates with transactional-only or contract-only backgrounds are not a good fit for this role
• Experience with public/private construction projects, bonding disputes, and/or contractor claims as a primary focus
• Business law experience is a welcome addition

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction law
• Active member of the Georgia Bar in good standing
• Demonstrated litigation experience in construction-related matters
• Surety law background preferred but not required
• A self-starter who can identify issues, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and want to be part of a collaborative team in a boutique firm setting
• Existing book of business is preferred but not required
  

Compensation and Work Environment

• Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience
• Flexible work arrangement: prefer in office but hybrid options are available. Open to candidates located anywhere in Georgia.  The firm is based in the North Atlanta area.;
• Collaborative, positive, small-team environment with direct access to firm partners
