Site Superintendent

The Project Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities from project mobilization through completion. This role provides the leadership, technical expertise, and day-to-day management needed to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the project team, subcontractors, and field personnel, the Superintendent coordinates all field operations to deliver successful commercial construction projects. Key Responsibilities Promote and maintain a safe job site through proactive safety leadership and compliance Lead and participate in constructability reviews Coordinate and supervise all construction trades and subcontractors Plan and sequence construction activities in accordance with the master project schedule Develop and maintain short-term (look-ahead) schedules Manage field manpower, equipment, and material resources Monitor project progress to ensure schedule, quality, and productivity goals are achieved Perform daily site inspections and document field conditions Ensure work is completed in accordance with contract documents, project specifications, and company quality standards Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve field issues Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction on large‑scale projects Ability to read, interpret, and apply construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail Preferred Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field Experience with construction software such as Procore, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc. The salary range represents Cobalt's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards package this client provides to employees. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cobalt Recruitment
