Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather patients' trauma histories and craft individualized treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal empowerment.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and promoting healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, case managers, and other multidisciplinary team members to deliver integrated and holistic patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support, ensuring patients receive timely assistance during traumatic emergency situations.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms to empower their healing journey.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and best practices to enhance clinical outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay informed about the evolving landscape of trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with adults suffering from trauma-related disorders, including PTSD, anxiety, and depression stemming from traumatic experiences. You will also support families of trauma survivors, guiding them in understanding and navigating the complexities of trauma responses. By fostering a therapeutic alliance, you'll help each patient find their path to healing in a trusting and encouraging environment.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in trauma-focused therapy.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed care, and resilience-building therapeutic approaches.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Adeptness in managing high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant digital communication tools.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Compensation and Benefits\n
