Senior Accountant
Full-time
Kforce's client is a registered investment advisor located in downtown Boston and is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant. The position offers a quick path to supervisor and offers challenging work, as well as a chance to work on a broad variety of business investments. Responsibilities:
- The Senior Accountant will perform accounting for multiple entities, investments, real estate, significant asset holdings (multiple classes), trusts and other related businesses for an assigned group of clients
- Preparing & reviewing monthly financial statements/reports
- Support external audits
- Preparing & reviewing financial summaries requested by clients
- Month-end reconciliations
- Provide continuous support on improved processes and efficiencies
- Support tax group w/tax workpapers
- Various financial projects for clients
- BS in Accounting
- Public accounting background/CPA desirable
- Minimum 4+ years of general accounting
- Strong Excel and systems aptitude
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
