Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gain insights into clients' concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and establish individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other specialized techniques based on client needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients facing acute mental health crises, ensuring a timely response to their urgent needs.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client interactions, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and allied health professionals, to coordinate care and align treatment strategies for the benefit of clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, advocating for their rights and needs throughout the therapeutic process.

• Engage in continuous learning and development by participating in training, workshops, and conferences to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on the latest practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits\n
