Lab Relocation Specialist

It will collaborate with our operations team, engineering resources, and customer stakeholders. This position reports to the Lab Relocation Project Manager. What you will do Support a moving strategy that is aligned with critical projects & deliverables Coordinate with the project team to ensure the move schedule aligns with the completion of construction Follow a roadmap allowing for site readiness for each piece of equipment in scope Manage the master equipment & supplies inventory list Execute the decontamination, decommissioning, packing/crating, recommissioning of existing lab equipment, computerized systems & supplies + installation & commissioning of new lab equipment (final scope TBD) Ensure compliance with quality standards and financial plans for the move Ability to multitask and self-motivate MS Project knowledge Understanding of how to manage vendors Proven ability to develop a project plan Education / Special Skills B.S. Degree or equivalent required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Accountability – takes ownership of assigned work and responsibilities, follows through, and closes the loop Communication – clearly expresses thoughts and ideas both in written and verbal communications, provides timely information Financial Acumen – Considers financial impact of all decisions Integrity – Can admit mistakes, is direct and truthful Customer Service – demonstrates a “customer‑first” mentality, focused on meeting the needs of customers and captures feedback to make improvements Priority Setting – Prioritizes assigned schedules and workload Team Building – Mentors newer technicians, facilitates clear communication amongst the team, demonstrates care and respect for co‑workers and colleagues Supervision – Can act as a supervisor to the rest of the team when called upon, build relationships with the account and is seen as a leader within the organization Giving Feedback – Provides constructive feedback towards department goals and activities, helps to foster growth within the team Safety Requirements Maintain a safe working environment for self and others if they come in contact within the biomed area in accordance with the facility’s policies Must follow OSHA guidelines in regard to blood borne pathogens, airborne pathogens, radiation, sharp instruments and/or tools, hazardous liquids, and operating devices Ontime completion of safety trainings assignments Must have sensory ability to distinguish hot & cold ranges of temperature, surfaces, fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and detect/distinguish colors Must be able be able to carry or lift up to 50 pounds routinely Classification FLSA: Salaried, Exempt **Note: This position description does not list every activity, duty, and responsibility of the position and may be altered by RENOVO at any time.
